Sixty years ago, in 1964, Sid co-founded Bader with his brother-in-law, Zollie Baratz. What began with one building and three employees, has grown into a successful, multi-generational, real estate company which continues to expand into various markets across the United States. After sixty years of experience in real estate development, management and acquisitions, Sid continues to bring his wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. With a background in finance, Sid has influenced his team to holistically analyze the company’s strategy in order to ensure profitable growth. In 2021, Sid was recognized by the Minnesota Real Estate Journal for his contributions to the real estate industry by honoring him with the Lifetime Achievement Award. At the core of Mark Jensen’s professional identity, is his unwavering passion for real estate, specifically in the multi-family housing sector. Mark has seen what an incredible impact multi-family housing can have within a community. In July of 2023, Mark accepted the position of CEO and Partner of Bader. His prior positions with Bader and its management company were President, CEO, CFO and Partner of the development and investment companies, where he honed his skills in strategic planning, team leadership and expert knowledge of the industry. Mark has a keen eye for identifying strategic acquisitions and potential new development projects, delivering deals that align with the company’s long-term goals and interests of stakeholders. With this expertise, he has helped Bader to acquire and develop over $2 billion dollars of multi-family investments, which required attaining over $1.5 billion of debt from agencies, debt funds, banks and life companies. Known for his personable demeanor, exceptional people skills, and dynamic leadership style, Mark fosters a collaborative and energizing corporate culture. With over 30 years of experience in the apartment industry, Brenda recognizes that strategic planning is paramount for every asset to realize its full potential. Brenda uses her expertise to drive success within the Bader portfolio. Since joining Bader in 2000, Brenda has been at the forefront of the organization’s marketing and growth endeavors. With a thoughtful approach to understanding each property’s target demographic, she crafts tailored marketing and development plans that span small-scale to expansive communities, ensuring the attraction of prospects and retention of residents. Prior to becoming CRO, Brenda served Bader as Vice President of Marketing and Business Communication. During this time, she led the implementation of customized marketing and revenue strategies for over 140 communities within the Bader portfolio. Her leadership has been instrumental in 80+ successful lease-ups and repositioning of over 50 properties. Before joining Bader, Brenda was a partner in a Minneapolis-based consulting and contract leasing firm. She also held the position of sales manager at Apartment Search Inc. Brenda’s commitment to the industry extends beyond her role at Bader. She has actively contributed to the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, serving as multiple committee chairs, board member, and currently holding a position on the executive board. Additionally, Brenda has lent her expertise to organizations such as Housinglink and Minnesota Hands and Voices (formerly Lifetrack Resources). Brenda holds a Minnesota Real Estate Broker’s license along with a COM certification and a degree in business communications from the University of Wisconsin - Superior. Jennifer came to Bader in 2022 as Director of Strategy with over 25 years of experience in the apartment industry. Jennifer’s expertise in consulting, developing and redeveloping, preleasing, and market rate property and construction management, has laid the foundation for her to propel the company forward and create profitable growth. Jennifer is responsible for identifying strategic initiatives and areas that require risk mitigation for the management organization, and formulating and supporting efficient and effective processes and systems for employees that will promote growth and sustainability of the business. Prior to Bader, Jennifer grew The Excelsior Group’s Multifamily Property Management business from 400 to 5,000 units, locally. In 2021, she led the sale and transition of the company to Lincoln Property Company, where she helped align the teams, relationships and processes for a seamless transition. Jennifer graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and her greatest passion is helping people reach their highest potential through various real estate related businesses. She served as the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) MN Chapter 45 President in 2013, co-created the Downtown Council’s Explore Downtown Living event in 2015, and was named a MN Real Estate Journal’s Women in Business in 2019. Robb leads all new development and oversees acquisitions for Bader. Leveraging over 20 years of real estate experience in investment sales, leasing and new construction, Robb creates and implements strategic plans to ensure Bader continues its success and profitable growth. Robb excels at growing and maintaining relationships with investors, lenders, external clients and partners. Robb has a keen eye for curating a property or existing building to better fit within its surrounding community and natural landscape. Since 2008, Robb has been responsible for over 2 million square feet of new, multifamily development and construction, and he has overseen over $1 billion in new development, construction, and acquisition in the Twin Cities and Dallas/Ft. Worth markets. Jon is responsible for multifamily acquisitions and has more than a decade of experience acquiring properties throughout the United States. Prior to joining Bader, Jon was Vice President of Acquisitions at The Wolff Company, a real estate private equity firm that has owned, developed and managed multifamily assets nationally for over six decades. Before joining Wolff Company, Jon was Vice President of Investments at Behringer Harvard, where he was responsible for all aspects of the transaction process for multifamily development and acquisition investments in the West Coast, Midwest and Southwest. To date, he has sourced and closed more than $2 billion in transaction volume. Jon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specializing in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison School of Business. -

Amy brings 25+ years of accounting expertise to Bader. She started as an accountant in 1995 and has held several accounting titles since. In 2017, Amy was named Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Operations. Currently, Amy directs the accounting operations for all properties in the Bader portfolio. She also supervises the accounting and IT departments and oversees all financial reporting for the company. In addition to these areas, Amy has played a pivotal role in helping Bader stay on the forefront of technological changes. With her accounting background, Amy is able to direct the technology tools utilized by Bader in order to provide the maximum efficiency in our industry to employees, shareholders, and outside firms, while conforming to all the standard accounting practices. Will guides overall project direction and coordination for all new developments from project sourcing through lease up. Prior to working for Bader, Will worked at the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Preservation Alliance of Minnesota (now Rethos). In those roles, Will saw how impactful real estate development can be in transforming and revitalizing neighborhoods and communities. To date, Will has been a part of more than $500M in new developments completed or currently under construction with Bader, including affordable housing, historic tax credit, mixed-use and market rate projects. Will works closely with a variety of partners, both internally and externally, and excels at funneling various opinions and ideas into creating exceptional multifamily communities. Will is certified by the National Development Council as a Historic Housing Development Finance Professional and is active in ULI Minnesota. Mike brings to Bader over 15 years of experience in the construction industry across various construction types. He leads the design and construction teams for all of Bader’s development projects. Mike coordinates the projects from concept through completion, maintains development budgets and schedules, and works with the management team on developing a vision and design to ensure the project meets all expectations. Mike also assists the leasing and maintenance teams to transition new properties to stable operations. Mike collaborates daily with the general contractors, architects, engineers, municipalities, and the development team. Mike has an innate ability to listen to the vision of a project and ensure that it is translated into its design, construction and operations. Mike holds LEED, SWPPP & OSHA certifications and graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Construction Engineering. As a tenured House Captain with Christmas in May Chaska, a local non-profit organization, he volunteers to help in the rehabilitation of homes in the Chaska area for residents who do not have the financial or physical ability to maintain their homes.
